The Statue of Liberty
An illuminated Lady Liberty from the base all the way to the crown

The Brooklyn Bridge
The necklace lights as they are called are on for 8 hours each night turning off at 1am.

The Empire State Building
In 1976 the first colored lighting in red, white and blue was introduced in celebration of the American Bicentennial.

Disappearing Skyline
Twice the City of New York experienced a city wide black out where the skyline disappeared. The first happened on July 13, 1977 and the second on August 14, 2003.
